Columbus has always been a yes-we-can kind of place. We are leading the way with innovation from the tech boom to the arts scene to the country’s largest university. Today, the next big thing is the clean energy revolution. Clean energy to power our schools, save the district money, and free us from the outdated fuels that pollute our air and water and harm our climate. Columbus can continue to lead in the new energy future, with schools that will be cleaner and safer, all while building a better world for our families. 

About Us

Safe Green Schools is working with Columbus Parent Impact to improve our schools. We represent a broad group of concerned organizations and individuals who are working together to win schools that usher in a green energy future.  Parents, teachers, students, labor leaders and policy experts are providing important leadership, with organizations like Ohio Organizing Collaborative and Ohio Environmental Council helping to lead the way.
